Punch Pizza Roseville

Overview

Walking into Punch Pizza Roseville feels a bit like stepping into a neighborhood hangout that just happens to take pizza very seriously. Located at 1767 County Road B2 W, Roseville, MN 55113, United States, this spot has become a regular stop for locals who appreciate food that’s simple on the surface but deeply thoughtful in execution. I’ve eaten here more times than I can count, sometimes grabbing a quick lunch between errands, other times lingering over dinner with friends, and the consistency is what always stands out.

The menu is focused, which is often a good sign. Rather than overwhelming you with endless options, Punch Pizza sticks closely to Neapolitan-style pizza. Each pie is made with a thin, tender crust that’s slightly blistered from the intense heat of the wood-fired oven. According to standards set by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana, authentic Neapolitan pizza should bake in about 90 seconds at extremely high temperatures, and you can taste that tradition here. The result is a crust that’s soft in the center, airy at the edges, and never heavy.

One of my go-to orders is the Margherita, a classic combination of San Marzano tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, olive oil, and basil. It sounds basic, but that’s exactly where the skill shows. The tomatoes are bright and slightly sweet, the cheese melts without becoming greasy, and the basil adds a fresh finish. A friend of mine who worked in Italy for several years once described this pizza as as close to Naples as you’ll get in Minnesota, and I tend to agree. Punch Pizza sources Italian ingredients whenever possible, which aligns with research showing that high-quality tomatoes and flour significantly affect flavor and texture in traditional pizza-making.

Beyond the pizza, the menu includes simple salads and Italian sodas that pair well without stealing the spotlight. The Caesar salad, for example, is crisp and garlicky, making it a solid companion to the main event. Portions feel just right; you leave satisfied but not weighed down, which is something many diner-style pizza places struggle to balance.

The Roseville location is one of several across Minnesota, and that expansion didn’t happen by accident. Reviews often highlight not only the food but also the efficiency of the process. Orders move quickly, even during busy hours, thanks to a streamlined kitchen setup. You can watch the pizzas being assembled and slid into the oven, which adds a bit of theater and transparency. From a food safety and trust perspective, that openness matters, and organizations like the National Restaurant Association consistently note that visible food prep builds customer confidence.

Service here is casual and friendly. Staff members are knowledgeable about the menu and happy to explain differences between pizzas if you’re new. On one visit, I overheard an employee explaining why the crust doesn’t stay crunchy for long, noting that Neapolitan pizza is meant to be eaten fresh out of the oven. That kind of honest explanation builds trust, even if it challenges expectations.

Prices are reasonable for the quality, especially considering the imported ingredients and specialized ovens. While it may not be the cheapest pizza in Roseville, it delivers strong value. The only limitation worth mentioning is seating during peak times; the dining area can fill up quickly, so takeout might be the better option on a busy evening.

Overall, the combination of carefully sourced ingredients, traditional methods, and a welcoming atmosphere makes this place stand out. It’s not trying to reinvent pizza or chase trends. Instead, it focuses on doing one thing well, and that confidence comes through in every bite, reinforcing its reputation as a reliable favorite among locals who know good pizza when they taste it.

I had the Bruni pizza at Punch and it did not disappoint — perfectly crisp crust, just the right amount of spice, and fresh ingredients that hit every note. Finished with their dessert panini, which was warm, gooey, and the perfect sweet ending. Punch is one of the best pizza chains that I have had.

Just had it for the first time and it was incredible… especially because of how affordable it is. Also very quick. Will absolutely be back

I ordered takeout Punch Pizza for the first time today, and I was very impressed with their amazing and delicious pizza. I love Neopolitan style pizza, and Punch did not disappoint. I got the classic Margherita style pizza with salami added to it. Great light and airy crust. Great toppings. The pizza was ready quickly and the staff was great. The focacia bread was great as well.

good pizza it appears they have one size so each person sort of gets their own pizza or at least that’s what my friend and I did. My friend says it’s his favorite pizza place. I found the tomato sauce on there to be light and fresh. I had sausage, but it was sprinkled crumbly type sausage and it wasn’t really as much as I’d like to have had but it was my first time there so I didn’t know overall though pretty good pizza good crust

Stopped in on Sept 15 around 1pm, whoever was working the cash register was very personable and friendly. We noticed food was taking a little long, but wasn’t a big deal, and then the cashier came out with a pizza and informed us of a problem they had with our order. They proceeded to give us the mistake pizza, brought out a new pizza with the correct items, and comped our meal. I am so grateful for their prompt and clear communication as well as excellent customer service, especially as someone with food allergies. We will be coming here again!
